The application process to appear in any of the IBPS exams is online where candidate can go to the official website and follow the instructions as advised in the advertisement. The general instructions include filling an online form with basic details, uploading photo and uploading signature.
Once the application form is filled and submitted, candidate should opt for making the payment, which can be online or offline. If the candidate opts to pay online and makes the payment, on successful completion an e-receipt will be generated for the future reference.
During the online application form filing process, candidate should take utmost care, as the details submitted are considered final and would not be changed and any correspondence regarding the same will not be entertained.
If the candidate successfully completes online application form and makes payment, IBPS sends examination admit card or examination call letter to the registered e-mail id which the candidate has provided while providing the details for online application.
In case if a candidate does not receive IBPS admit card via e-mail, he/she can download the IBPS admit card from the IBPS website by providing his/her registration number and date of birth or password.
The IBPS admit card is printed in English and Hindi both. It contains roll number, registration number, name and address of the candidate, venue of examination, date of examination, cadre of examination for which the candidate is appearing, candidate’s recent photograph and signature or impression of right hand thumb.
At the time of examination, a candidate has to be present with the IBPS admit card and a photocopy of Identity proof. If the candidate is failed to fulfill the above terms, he/she will be disqualified to appear in the examination.
